Hardscaping Contractor in Maple Ridge
Maple Ridge sits at the northeastern edge of Metro Vancouver where suburban development meets the wilderness of Golden Ears Provincial Park. From the established neighbourhoods of Haney and Albion to the modern communities of Silver Valley and Thornhill, Maple Ridge homeowners invest in outdoor spaces that make the most of BC's best backyard setting.
The terrain here ranges from the Fraser River floodplain in the south to the rolling foothills of Golden Ears in the north. Silver Valley has meaningful grade changes that demand proper retaining wall engineering. Albion's family-oriented lots are ripe for patio and deck upgrades. The rural properties of Whonnock and Webster's Corners need large-scale hardscaping that handles both function and scale.
Maple Ridge gets more precipitation than the Fraser Valley floor due to mountain lift. That means proper drainage, freeze-thaw base preparation, and materials built for BC's wet winters are essential — not optional. We design every project around Maple Ridge's specific conditions.

Retaining Wall Permits — Strictest in the Region
Walls over 0.6m exposed height require a permit — the strictest threshold in our coverage area. Walls over 1.0m or tiered walls less than 3.0m apart require structural and geotechnical engineering. Wood walls are capped at 0.6m and cannot be structural.

Tree Protection
All trees with 20cm+ diameter are protected. Critical root zone is calculated at 18× the trunk diameter — the largest protection zone in our area. Penalty up to $10,000 per tree. We plan around protected trees on every project.
